Scenic Art Classroom 2026: Mare

The University of Valencia, through the Classroom of Scene Arts, gives continuity to its stage season with a new proposal of productions for the second semester of the course 2025-2026. Between the months of January and June, the Sala Matilde Salvador of the La Nau Cultural Center will offer a careful and wide selection of theater performances, today and performance which combine contemporary creation, classic texts and proposals linked to the university field.

In March, Pilar Rochina Producciones will open the program with Yo, Clarita, written and directed by Antonia Bueno, which can be seen on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5. the same week, on friday 6, it will be the turn of Mozart y Salieri, version and direction by Raúl García and performed by the Enrique Rambal Utiel Theater Group. The performances will continue on the days 11 i 12 of March with Mare, a creation of Rocío Ladrón de Guevara, Fernando Soler and Laura Valero produced by Emergidas Company de Teatre. Within the 'Singular' cycle, on Wednesday 25 of March will be presented X, a creation of Jaime Francés. For its part, the cycle 'Intersections' will offer on Thursday 26 of March Dear Max, written and directed by Tiago P. Barrachina (Orfe Theater).

Pinky Promise will open April, by Dramaturbio Teatro and under the direction of Victoria Avinyó, with functions on the days 1 i 2. One more year, the Performing Arts Classroom, in collaboration with the Valencian Institute of Culture, hosts the Valencia Dance Festival with the showcase Valencian focus Wednesday 15 to them 13 h. On Thursday 16 we will have the opportunity to see the creation Blackface and other shames by Silvia Albert Sopale, within the 'Intersections' cycle. The stage activity will continue on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 of April with doll prisonfrom the Las Barraca drag collective, run by the same company. The month of April will close with suro cap, feet of lead by Pep Laza and directed by Patricia Pardo, within the 'Singular' cycle, on Wednesday 29, and with the dance show Connected by Sara del Río and Pablo Bass for FrequenSi Dance Company, which will take place on Thursday 30.
