A versatile piece of furniture, a work of art or workshop material… all these things is Artifact: a mobile device, halfway between the artistic installation and the mediation proposal, designed specifically to host projects created by artists. In this workshop with the artist Regina Giménez, We will convert the wooden structures of the Artifact into a collage that will take the shape of a house-object. Inspired by the film by architects Ray and Charles Eames, House: after five years of living (1955), We will discover that a house has a double shape: acts as a container, but also as content. Thus, A house is also an object that tells us about ways of life and ways of living.. Experimenting with geometric blocks, We will explore the concepts of space, volume, shape and color.
Participants will be able to activate all the pieces that make up the Artifact and reinvent the concept of the house and its infinite possibilities with each proposal..
