This exhibition is a research project that is in constant development. Starting from the idea of ​​identity and belonging, ways of doing things from yesteryear are recovered that have a new place from the present. This generates a set of pieces composed of two of the most ancient knowledges that arose from the use of two nearby raw materials.: ceramics and weaving.
Nuria Riaza (Almansa, Albacete 1990) He grew up in an area where the roots and traditions have been cared for and treasured for centuries. This inheritance has led her to investigate ways of doing things that had been lost., incorporating them into your own creative processes. For years, Their projects revolve around identity and the environment.; In them he has established a dialogue between ceramics, drawing and knitting. His interest in processes is reflected in his compositions., archeology, geology or archaic forms. Collect your own natural clays, with which he makes pasta, glazes and adds textures to your pieces, giving them unique characteristics. Besides, is aware that firing ceramics gives their work exceptional durability and resistance, allowing you to create objects designed to be passed from generation to generation.
