Now Malikian presents in the Valencia Congress Palace 26 y 27 December his new tour'Intruder’, a very personal journey in which he starts from the anguish of not fitting in anywhere to finally embrace the richness of his multicultural identity and find his home in the entire world through art and music. In Lebanon they did not consider me “Lebanese” enough because I was of Armenian origin, Armenians did not consider me “Armenian” enough because I was born in Lebanon, When I settled in Europe they did not consider me “European” because I was not born in Europe. This experience was also reflected in my relationship with music.. Each note resonated with the nostalgia of a home that did not exist, a place where I didn't quite fit in. However, This status as an “outsider” gave me the opportunity to explore and enjoy fascinating music and cultures., foreign to my own tradition, contributing my own voice, my multicultural experience. Thanks to my status as an “intruder”, I have discovered that the whole world is my home. My home is in my body and in my soul, an infinite space where identity is transformed and music becomes a universal language.
