Three films complete the cycle that recovers the legacy of Norwegian filmmaker Anja Breien, one of the most prominent directors in Scandinavia, often compared to Chantal Akerman. The inheritance (1979) i witch hunt (1981) they are the two titles that most contributed to his international reputation, both for the attention they received at festivals and for their wide distribution. The first was selected in the official competition of the Festival de Cannes and witch hunt it received an honorable mention at the Venice Film Festival for its historical reconstruction, in addition to the Pasinetti award for best actress for her leading role.
