Amphibian is a performance of 45 minutes split into two parts. The first, combustion, combines music composed for the piano, saxophone and percussion with live electronics, controlled by the same composer, Kostas Zisimopoulos, present on stage. The second consists of a musical improvisation on a tape (tape) of electronics. The use of prepared and modified instruments is particularly noteworthy, that integrate with live electronics. During the interpretation, the performers also recite verses by the poet Giorgos Zisimopoulos. The proposal is complete with the visual arts of Özüm Ezgi Satılmış.
The program also includes a newly created work by the composer Esther Pérez, commissioned specifically by ENSEMS of the Valencian Institute of Culture. Words [warp] it works as a set of longitudinal threads that, stretched on the loom, they support the fabric and make possible the interweaving of the weft, revealing, depending on how you listen to it, an always different framework.
