Playing piano alone at the Matisse is immersing yourself in a space where magic is tangible. It's a special occasion, an intimate ritual between the piano, the public and me. It's that unique moment in which everything converges: the warmth and closeness of those who listen, the deep and inexhaustible voice of the big tail, and the search for a state of musical grace. A perfect moment to bring out the best in yourself and aspire to that plateau where time stops.
This concert is a map of my musical affections, a journey through the souls that have shaped my way of understanding music. It is an honor and a necessity to share with you this dialogue with my favorite authors. It will also be a pleasure to premiere live some of the latest compositions from my most recent albums, along with the newest “Songs without words” . These songs are my logbook, the sound of my own searches and findings, and take on a special life in the immediacy of the concert.
For all this, This evening at the Matisse is not just a recital; It is an invitation to a shared journey. A journey from the most subtle intimacy to rhythmic explosion, from the most beloved standard to the newborn own song.
