The Music Room of the University of Valencia, through the Vice-Rectorate for Culture and Society and the UV General Foundation, premieres this Monday the autumn program with 16 concerts that will take place, from October to December, at the La Nau Cultural Center, the College Major Rector Peset, the UV Botanical Garden and the Charles Darwin Room on the Burjassot-Paterna Campus.

Admission to all concerts is free with prior reservation 72 hours earlier in https://events.fundacio.es/o/40, except for the sessions at the Botanic and the Charles Darwin in Burjassot which are free entry with limited capacity.

It is a program that wants to approach the entire university community, to the young audience and, by extension, in Valencian society, so it also has interpreters from thePhilharmonic Orchestra of the University of Valencia (OFUV), who have here an opportunity to play in front of the public during their musical training. A while ago, the program of the UV Music Classroom also includes one day a month to talk about music, where experts give a short academic introduction to the audition.

The autumn program month by month

Open programming in October Capriccio Trio (Wednesday 2, 19h, The Boat); the series of Concerts a la Capella will continue with the performance of the Valencian duo Aulos Duo together with the Danish ensemble Hermes(Wednesday 16, 19h, The Boat); The Sala de la Muralla of CM Rector Peset will host the next concert, clarinet and piano, Tuesday 22 (19h); Wednesday 23 (19h), in collaboration with the UV Equality Unit, La Nau's Chapel of Wisdom will be the setting for the first 'Words in Concert' conference, by Guillem Escorihuela, who will present the album 'Alma', with works by women composers of Romanticism and the 20th century as well Matilde Salvador, and in whose libretto he participated; Tuesday 29 (19h), it will be the Botanic's first concert; and Wednesday 30 (19h) there will be a conference-concert to present the album 'En prima persona', with Spanish and Valencian authors, by the VIU teacher Maria Ordiñana.

In November, the program will start with a new concert in collaboration with the UV Equality Unit, by the duo Mystical Woman, with works by the first female composers in history (Wednesday 6, 19h, The Boat); he will be followed by the duet Ivory&Reed (Tuesday 12, 19h, CM Rector Peset); Wednesday 13 (19h) it will be the heart's turn Lluís Vich Vocalis and Your Day; Wednesday 20 (19h), also in the Chapel, three members of the OFUV will perform; sunday 24 (12h), he Twenty String Quintet, made up of young musicians from the UV Orchestra, will perform in the Auditori Joan Plaça del Jardí Botànic; and Wednesday 17 (19h), the heart The victory of music will star in the function at the Capella de la Sapiència with the concert 'In Memoria Aeterna', which will include the 'Words in Concert' by the director of La Nau UV Choral School, Monica Perales.

December will start with Turab Ensemble (Wednesday 4, 19h, The Boat); The Regalada will perform the concert 'A laor e gloria' at the Botanic (Tuesday 10, 19h), dedicated to early music and historical wind and percussion instruments 550 anniversary of the publication of the 'Findings in Lahors of the Virgin Mary (Valencia, 1474)’; Wednesday 11 (19h), the concert 'Valencian music for flute and piano' will take place in the Chapel, dedicated entirely to indigenous composition; i, lastly, the traditional program will close Christmas concert which will be offered by the UV Philharmonic Orchestra, with direction ofHilary Garcia Gázquez, in the Sala Charles Darwin in Burjassot on Friday 20 (13h), in collaboration with the European December cycle 2024.
