Between 7 and the 9 of November, Xàbia Negra will celebrate its eighth edition. The festival, fully consolidated in the national circuit, will reach the entire town with a wide variety of activities for all audiences. This year the festival presents new activities, like recording a live true crime podcast or a criminal gymkhana in the library, and the most celebrated theatrical route in the city is recovered. The contest maintains its characteristic activities, like meetings with authors, the literary vermouth, the short film competition, activities with educational centers, characters off the page, book clubs and the battle of writers. Rosa Montero will receive the La Criminala award in recognition of her career.
