One more year—and there are 49—the Elche International Independent Film Festival once again takes its place in the Spanish cultural calendar. Of the 1 al 17 of July, the Mediterráneo Foundation organizes one of the oldest film festivals in the country, with the Hort del Xocolater and the Arenales del Sol Beach as main settings.
This 49th edition comes with 70 short films in competition, cycles of parallel activities with prominent names in Spanish audiovisual production, special screenings of feature films and a very special tribute: the actress Kiti Manver, one of the most beloved faces of cinema and television in our country, will be the protagonist of this recognition.
