In this year 2024 is fulfilled 150 anniversary of the birth of Arnold Schönberg, For many the most influential composer of the 20th century. to celebrate, the Cuesta Quintet presents a program with its 'Quintet op.26', considered his first twelve-tone work. The twelve-tone system of composition devised by Schönberg led to the conception of contemporary music that has greatly influenced music as we conceive it today.. One of these current works in which we can appreciate this influence is the work 'Étude', by David del Puerto, which we will also hear in this program.
