The Plaça del Llibre Valencia will celebrate its 12th edition in the Botanical Garden of the 30 from October to 3 of November. In this way, the University of Valencia space will host for the second time the largest showcase of literature in Valencian, which this year will gather the participation of more than 50 publishers integrated into an exhibition of titles for all kinds of audiences and will have the figure of Vicent Andrés Estellés as one of its guiding threads on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
Regarding programming, it is planned to hold more than fifty activities in the different spaces made available by the Botanical Garden, repeating the formula of the last edition, when the relationship established between nature and books was one of the main attractions of the festival. The Plaça del Llibre will continue to bet on transversal proposals for all audiences that will include from a recital by the Palestinian poet and translator Samer Abu Hawwash in the voice of Clàudia Serra or the live broadcast of the Gent Random podcast, up to activities for the little ones such as 'The baker's son', the theater performance of the Disparatario company focused on the life of Vicent Andrés Estellés or the reading animation 'Monstres de ca nostra. The invisible inhabitants of the Mediterranean', by the Balearic Nova Editorial Moll.
Some of the outstanding authors that the attending public will be able to find at the 12th edition of the Plaça del Llibre de Valencia will be Gemma Pasqual with her novel 'La puta i la Santa' (Comanegra), Teresa Broseta, who will participate in the festival with the youth book 'A Summer of Film' (Edelvives), and Jaume Pérez Montaner, who will present his last collection of poems 'Before the verse', published by Edicions del Buc.
