For the first time, a performing arts festival in the Valencian Community has ten proposals from African artists in its program(e)s o afrodescendents. The dance festival Loops Circuit wants to dedicate its 11th edition to traditional and contemporary African cultures and their influence on cultural expressions as deeply rooted in Spanish territory as flamenco. Entremans [14] What a beautiful Afro-Cuban folklore; the celebration of the various styles of African street dance inAfrikan Party [14], Black d’Oulouy [15] rethinking the black African body in the Western world by taking movement as a reference black lives matter o the assassination of George Floyd, the edge reminding us in Otempodiz [22] that time must be lived, not limit ourselves to selling it like we do in the West; o Self-contained Substrate Santa [22], on Inés Sybille Vooduness is inspired by some scenes from the life of the martyr Saint Inés to strain the borders between the beautiful and the monstrous.
