Il·luminAR-TE, the Sagunto Light and Shadow Theater Festival blows out ten candles consolidated as one of the few festivals in Europe dedicated exclusively to shadow theater. this year, the work intended specifically for the adult public will be Threads in the air [25] from the Madrid company Sinespacio Teatro, that immerses the viewer in the fascinating world of the Hatless Concha Mendez. From Brazil he sees the company Lumiato to present Lara, the charm of the waters [24], where an indigenous man seeks out the shaman to understand the mysteries of a supernatural woman he has dreamed about. The shadows of the ugly duckling, the characters of ancient Rome, Pinocchio and the princess from a herd of elephants make up a program that this year includes a show for a single spectator, poetic cabinet [18] from Voodoo Theater.
