That this year's opera season has included Trouble in Tahiti by Leonard Bernstein is, both a success, like a pleasant surprise. An opera that narrates the collapse of the American dream within a marriage and a family “perfect”. A twentieth century opera that draws from the sources of the beautiful song Italian with a lot of swing, with a lot of jazz. As if West side story, Food but, Revolutionary road and Rossini will merge perfectly to leave us with the best of smiles. A work that has the incentive of having the Singers of the Center de Perfectionament and the Orchestra of the Valencian Community under the direction of Jordi Francés. MARCOS MOLINERO
