FROM THURSDAY 9 ON SUNDAY 19/6
CARME THEATER. Gregory Gea, 6
Cinema quinqui had its heyday in the seventies and eighties, in a Spain that struggled to show a friendly face in front of Europe, but that was far removed from the reality that was lived in the neighborhoods. This attempt to fit into the scheme of societies that have had years of democratic advantage and how big events such as the Football World Cup in 1982, held next to open fields in which people died of overdoses, it's the beginning of cine quinqui. Five is a production of the Carme Teatre creative residence that offers us a review of the aesthetics of marginality and life in the neighborhoods from the time of the Transition to the present day, taking as reference the fake documentary technique.
