S. MICHAEL OF THE KINGS. Constitution, 284
This month we have the opportunity again to enjoy this proposal that premiered a year ago with great public success. Based on real cards, prisoners portrays the experiences of six prisoners at the Sant Miquel dels Reis Monastery, one of the main centers of political repression in Valencia during the Franco dictatorship and, precisely, the place where the work is now performed. Each character has a monologue set in a period of history between the end of the Civil War and the beginning of democracy. All the pieces have suffering as a common denominator, the anger and anguish of people who were imprisoned for having political ideas contrary to the Regime. Tickets are free upon reservation by phone 962 997 039 (10-13h. from Monday to Friday), and in the email reservapresoners@gmail.com. G.T.
