The playwright of Alzira Carles Alberola d’Albena Theater is back with a bang. If a few weeks ago he premiered his latest work with The Horta Theatre, The utim ball, where he also acted, at the end of 2023 directs this production starring Arantxa Cortés, Ramon Rodenas, Cristina Garcia, Jaime Linares, Pilar Martínez and Joan Verdú produced by the Valencian Institute of Culture which will premiere at the Rialto Theatre. Electric text, from Alberola himself, was awarded the Palanca i Roca Theater prize in 2019 and deals with three couples of different ages who spend a night under the same roof, showing the erosion caused by the passage of time in relationships. This comedy is a tribute to all those couples who have endured over time with a pact of love, generosity and renunciation, before coexistence and boredom obscure everything. G.T.
