Perennial

RIALTO THEATER. Pl. town hall, 17

The Rialto Theater ends the year on a high. En els mesos postquarantena ha recovers la monumental Valencian premiered at 2019, has hosted several pieces of the Dance Valencia, i plow crowns this very complicated year with the first in-house production of contemporary circus for adults by the Institut Valencian de Cultura, Perennial, of Patricia Pardo, which should have been released at the end of April. We all know what happened. A Perennial young artists perform mixed with others of advanced age (really advanced) to build a metaphor that confronts old age with the perennial feeling of existence that we harbor. Old women were also young long ago, everyone's face will become a Salvador Dalí clock and the universe doesn't give a shit about that as much as Burgos Cathedral. This is one of the acid reflections we will hear in Pardo's latest project, a very unique artist who knows how to combine acrobatics wonderfully, he clown and dance in pieces full of humor and social criticism: to torture in The laughing cow, to the artificial construction of genres in Cul Kombat, or to the rejection of the migrant in Marx's fandango.
