In satire Not my monkeys we are invited to reflect on the dictatorship of happiness. La cultura de l’esforç, el “lluita’l al màxim i si no l’aconsegueixes la culpa és teua”, “no l’has intentat prou” o, even, pitjor encara, “no ho has desitjat prou”, estan a l’ordre del dia. Hem de ser feliços, estem obligats a ser feliços. La vida, el treball, les relacionstot es mesura en qüestió d’èxit o fracàs. Mentre més ens preocupem del nostre èxit personal, més desatenem la preocupació social i col·lectiva. Mentre estiguem immersos en aquesta carrera de fons i sense relleus, no ens preguntarem de veritat on es troba l’errada del sistema. LUCAS SÁEZ
