Nekrassov

MAIN THEATER. boats, 15

The philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre takes the stage in Nekrassov, the only comedy the author wrote. His work is known for existentialism, but in this case, The French philosopher shows us that he is also good at the art of making people laugh and using humor to reflect on controversial topics.. So, The Abbey Theater show is a satire on the swings of public opinion, media manipulation and (lack of) veracity in journalistic information. The context in which the work takes place is the Cold War and anti-communist propaganda., but the topic undoubtedly refers us to other cases of journalistic manipulation and fake news of our current political situation..
