After going through companies like Daniel Abreu o Provisional Dance, Igor Calonge began creating his own small-format pieces from the Arteleku Art Center in Donostia, there for him 2001. Nine years later he would create the company ceiling to facilitate larger productions, and with it he presents this solo titled Née. A piece that uses tradition, body strength, the resistance, the primitive fight, symbology and poetics to generate a new and risky physical language. They say that Née moved by the place from which it is narrated, not so much for the narrated event, that is born as a teaching, arises from pain and remembers beauty. AU
