Memories of a dream

CIRCLE THEATER. Prudencia Alcón i Mateu, 3

Memories of a dream navigate through the autobiographical account of the protagonist, which tells us like a morning of 1982, when she was three years old, some military policemen took his father from home, in Popayan (Colombia), along with other friends who were with him at the time. The secondary actress of this self-fiction is memory, that of the father who was tortured for ten days with his ten nights, that of the mother remembering the day of the "enforced disappearance" and that of the children, that reconstruct the present through childhood memories, incomplete and tangled, like this distorted autobiography. Between the fiction of a dream and the documentary of an event, the work recognizes the ambiguity of the vision about the future based on the impact of this event on the family. AU
