In these words from Mariana Pineda herself we see what she was like: a woman in love, passionate, kind, revolutionary, libre, who doesn't understand rules, genres, not even afraid, above all he does not understand fear. Federico García Lorca narrates the brief life and unjust death of this brave woman, sentenced to death for holding a liberal flag. Through the eyes of the great poet we will meet Mariana, silenced during absolutist governments, and exalted under liberal and progressive governments, turned into a myth and symbol of freedom for being guided by her heart until her last breath.
