Mare

FROM THURSDAY 18 ON SUNDAY 21/1
RUSSAFA ROOM. Dénia, 55

From a small piece of Russafa Stage Festival of 2021 is born Mare, a long-lasting work that portrays the evolution that the concept of motherhood has undergone, the obligations and characteristics of the people in charge of parenting in the social and personal history of the country in recent decades. A woman remembers the family that raised her in a working-class Valencian neighborhood in the 1980s: three women who were the pillars of his life, an absent parent. between heels, wild dances and intense scenes, Rocío Ladrón de Guevara and Laura Valero move us between laughter and tears as they witness the search for an identity, to the discovery of the instability of a childhood on which a woman aims to build a solid future.
