In Arden's new production, damn ladies, Chema Cardena once again draws on historical figures from the past to deal with issues of the present. In this case they are all women and fictional characters. Anna Karenina, Madame Bovary i La Regenta, protagonists of great stories of unfortunate love of universal literature, they make Cardeña fantasize about how they would have narrated their stories if, in addition to characters, they had been the authors. The end of each one is known, with the lesson learned, these three women analyze the societies that oppressed them then and continue to punish the women who take the initiative today, they fall in love with younger couples or, simply, they let themselves be carried away by their passions.
