The assembly members, premiered at Merida Festival with Silvia April head of, exposes an obvious criticism of the political system and the inequalities between women and men. The montage takes the text of the Greek humorist Aristophanes as its starting point and recounts the reform orchestrated by the heroine Praxàgona, who gets, together with the women of Athens, to infiltrate the assembly and win by a large majority the motion that transfers to women the power of the affairs of the State. The goddess Nemesis casts a spell for women to unite and, led by Praxàgona, they steal men's clothes, they cross the great forest in one night and manage to reach the place where the assembly is held. The dangers of the road will make them see what the laws are that will change their lives forever. ASSUME TAMARIT
