Mel Brooks directed the year 1974 the mythical parody Young Frankenstein where he laughed at the film adaptations that Universal had done over the years 30 from Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. In her, El dr. Fredrick Frankenstein gets exasperated every time someone mentions the subject of his grandfather, the famous mad scientist, and wants to distance himself from his legacy by insisting that his surname be pronounced “Fronkonstin”. From this hilarious scene of the doctor with Igor (or /Aigor/) was born the title of the work with which the students of the musical theater cycle of l’Off School close the course. After the death of his grandfather, eminent neurosurgeon Fredrick Fronkonstin travels to Transylvania to claim his inheritance, but nothing is what it seems… AU
