Carlota Subirós adapts and directs Mercè Rodoreda's famous work in this intimate version, with live music and a dove performed by eleven actresses of different ages and profiles. Natàlia is a very humble woman who lives in the neighborhood of Gràcia and with whom we will tour the Second Republic, the civil war and the misery of Francoism. Her husband fought on the Republican side and this condemned her to social ostracism, where it is impossible for her to get a job or have minimally decent living conditions for herself and her children. his life, like so many others, will always be marked by a battle in which, nor fight, I didn't even have a voice.
