On the edge of a swamp we find a strange and abandoned house. The enigma of The house of spiders revolves around the story of Ángel, who returns after seven years. The drama comes from the construction of an electric dam, which turned the climate of the region upside down and unfortunately left the nearest town in oblivion. Since then, the few inhabitants of this town have fought to save the area, despite the action of poachers who threaten their tranquility. This text by Paco Zarzoso - a commission from National Theater of Catalonia i l’Valencian Institute of Culture- shows us the desolation of lives distanced from the rest of society and strongly marked by the scars of memories of the past.
