The trip to Reims

P. ARTS. Of. by Professor López Piñero, s/n

The trip to Reims It is Rossini's last opera in Italian. (his later works would be in French), a comic opera, currently at an event, although at the time it was divided into three acts. This grandiloquent composition by the Italian is one of the most complex, because it needs a large and powerful cast. Fourteen soloists are required. (three sopranos, a contralto, two tenors, four baritones and four basses). Due to these and other complexities we find a work performed by the Dutch National Opera & Ballet in co-production with the Royal Danish Opera Copenhagen and Opera Australia, under the direction of the brilliant Francesco Lanzillotta.
