Fascism is the central theme dand the 33 own production of the Teatre company Michael, The Movement, which comes after the success of dand the previous one, The garden of cherry trees, Valencian Scenic Arts Prize 2019 to Best Theater Show. The professor of an institute (Ximo Solano) he devises a slightly perverse exercise so that his students realize that we all carry a fascist inside, that authoritarianism offers certain "comforts" that can make it attractive, especially when the dichotomy between homeland or barbarian is raised. The teacher aims to show, to us and to his students, how sibylline is the populist process that can make us embrace fascism: the construction of a leader, the worship of symbols and slogans, the sense of belonging to a group against "others" who are the enemy, mutual surveillance between “compatriots”, the renunciation of freedom in exchange for security… A work that reminds us that we must be very alert to prevent the fascist drift that we are suffering these days in the world from blushes us too, highly recommended if you have teenage children.
