FROM FRIDAY 10 ON SUNDAY 19/11
RIALTO THEATER. Pl. the City Council, 1
José Sanchis Sinisterra (National Prize for Literature) proposes us in The hourly reader a seemingly simple premise: a businessman named Celso hires a reader by the hour, Ismael, to read aloud to his blind daughter, Lorraine. Ismael must read as neutrally as possible. But it will be the choice of universal literary texts and the dynamic that is generated between the characters that unleashes an uncontrollable emotional whirlwind within this intriguing metatextual game co-produced by Sala Beckett and the Valencian Institute of Culture. The reflection on the complexity of human relationships and their multiple dimensions will be very interesting. LUCAS SÁEZ
