When we think of a costume scene that tells us about distinguished Russian families, it is inevitable that Anton Chekhov comes to mind. The garden of cherry trees is a story about the decline of an aristocratic family that needs to get rid of its patrimony to take on the debts that haunt it. Released at 2018, it is an adaptation of the Valencian by Manuel Molins under the direction of Joan Peris. The surprising, and at the same time sober, staged alongside some brilliant interpretations (Pilar Almeria, Josep Manel Casany, Cristina Garcia, Bern Llobell, Laura Romero, Ximo Solano i Guille Zavala), they were recognized to him with the Valencian Scenic Arts Prize 2019 to the best theater show.
