L’Abrador

SATURDAY 5/4, 20H. 20/24€
RAMBLET. Bulevard sud, sang Pius IX

Society is already beginning to know the story of Leoncio Badía, known as "The Undertaker of Paterna", a man who tried to help the victims of Franco's repression and tried to document who the shot people were and where they were buried. Now there are studies, books and comics that talk about his figure, and we can learn about its history through this play titled L’Abrador. Despite being a free fiction that does not mention names of people or specific places, it is based on the experiences of Badía and other real characters who carried out actions that should be remembered. Because the importance of memory resides in learning from the past so as not to choose paths that are better not to tread again. G.T.
