Punishment without revenge is a tragedy written by Lope de Vega in 1631 that comes to the Teatro Principal adapted by Álvaro Tato, under the direction of Helena Pimenta, and interpreted by National Classical Theater Company. Lope de Vega narrates the love relationship between Count Federico and Casandra, his father's young wife, the Duke of Ferrara. When he discovers the adultery, a punishment is given that must be masked with another cause., Politics, for not revealing the dishonor and injury caused. The power, love and responsibility collide in this tragedy inspired by a true story that occurred in Italy at the end of the Four hundred. INÉS LUJÁN
