La Rambleta rescues Cuzco, the work created in collaboration between the renowned director Víctor Sánchez (MAX Award as author revelation for We will not kill ourselves with guns) and the public project Teatre del Poble Valencià. The masterful Silvia Valero and Bruno Tamarit interpret the sentimental estrangement of a couple traveling in Peru, thousands of kilometers from home, trying to save their relationship. But He – enthusiastic – and She – suffocated by boredom – are at very different points. The staircase that runs through the hotel rooms that serve as the setting symbolizes the emotional situation of some characters in search of salvation that what they find is a kind of catharsis on the edge of the abyss.
