dancing, dancing

UNTIL SUNDAY 11/1
T. MICALET. Guillem de Castro, 73

last spring, the Teatre Micalet company celebrated its 30 birthday presenting again dancing, dancing, one of his first big hits in the late nineties. This musical comedy about the history of Valencia in the 20th century conquered more than 60.000 spectators with a tour throughout Spain that lasted more than four years. And he received numerous awards, focusing on the company and contemporary Valencian theatre. Through the history of a dance hall, the show combines music, choreographies and collective memory, evoking social changes, political and cultural that have marked the city until today. A fun way to pass on historical memory to the younger ones and to awaken the memories of the older ones, according to its current director, John Peris. The success of the spring re-opening has led the Micalet Theater to extend the performances this autumn, to make us even more happy! B.L.
