bye! from Alicante Lucas Escobedo —recent winner of the Best Circus Show Award at the Valencian Performing Arts Awards 2021 per Paura— is the second circus production of l’Valencian Institute of Culture. We can highlight it in a special way because humanity has recently experienced moments where the word "goodbye" has taken on more meaning than ever. sometimes, "goodbye" is a greeting, but others need to be said out loud to confirm that after a "goodbye" a "hello" will come. And the fact is that we use these two words on a daily basis without realizing that they may have a background, a farewell to everything we used to do and can no longer do, to that physical exercise that we are no longer able to perform due to the passage of time or to that last function that we will no longer represent and miss!
