the project 71 bodies 1 dance consists of a photographic part formed by 71 portraits, a film with twelve mini-documentaries and the choreography we are dealing with: a performative solo where Daniel Mariblanca drink from the stories of 71 transgender people from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Spain. The performance lasts 71 minutes, one minute for each personal experience that has inspired this work based on the naked body and its physicality, its strength and vulnerability, no distractions or ornamentation. The aim is to generate knowledge about the transgender community by emphasizing how diverse the personal journeys of each of its members are, show its complexity on a human level through art. AU
