Don Rogelio J. continues exploring dystopian worlds in the Autsaider publishing house, this time using color and portraying a pre-apocalyptic world due to the scarcity of natural resources. We all saw it coming and no one did anything., which has led to an eco-fascism that has us absolutely marked and controlled. Cities have become atomized and bunkerized, and the only space of freedom is the one between them, what we today call emptied Spain, Dead Land. The comic tells the devastation experienced by a music band, terrain that Don Rogelio knows well, to survive in a circuit choked by permits and bureaucracy. In this shitty world that we have been left with, the future does not exist, one has to (about)live in the present. S.M.
