Hubert y Zanzim · Norma · 2021
The story that Hubert and Zanzim present to us in Men's Skin It is apparently simple, but, under the surface, It raises sores and provokes some necessary reflection. Something similar happens with Bianca, the protagonist of the comic, a Renaissance noblewoman who has been betrothed to an aristocrat she doesn't know. Luckily, the women in his family tell, since ancient times, with a “man's skin” with which they can mask themselves. The costume that Bianca will use, at first, to meet her fiancé, will also allow you to discover, and even subvert, the roles played by women and men. Intelligent and scathing topics such as sexuality are addressed, social and institutional repression or the hypocrisy with which people hide their true self, covering himself with many other skins, so as not to be singled out.
