Ya nos demostró Albert Monteys in ¡Universo! que su narrativa gráfica era perfecta para el género de la ciencia ficción. Por eso resulta tan satisfactorio que sea el dibujante encargado de adaptar al cómic, junto al guionista Ryan North, la más célebre novela de Kurt Vonnegut, Matadero cinco o la cruzada de los niños. La obra nos cuenta la vida de Billy Pilgrim, un soldado de la Segunda Guerra Mundial obligado a viajar por el tiempo, de manera descontrolada, a distintos momentos de su vida, que se verá forzado a revivir. Este recurso narrativo permite a los autores tratar temas tan trascendentales como el antibelicismo y la tragedia humana. ALEX MOSQUITA
