The union of Scandinavian mythology with the LGTBI world is something that, input, seems hard to get. Nevertheless, Natasha Alterici masterfully overcomes the challenge in her debut as a complete author. Heathen. Pagan, which promises to be the first part of a trilogy, relies on ancient Norse legends to tell the powerful and epic story of two women, —one mortal and the other immortal—who rebel against the world that condemns them, due to his behavior, supposedly immoral. The drawing, with nervous and at the same time elegant lines, gives a classic touch to the reading of this very interesting comic. ALEX MESQUITA
