Guy, portrait of a drinker It is much more than the adventure story of a grotesque drunk. It is an alcoholic and accidental odyssey towards survival, told with all the theatricality and rhythm of a pirate adventure. However, instead of one feat of improvement after another, what we are shown is the opposite: an apotheotic concatenation of criminal actions where the common thread is evil for evil's sake. Possessed by the same demons that it generates in its path, Guy is one of those men devoid of empathy who survive the absurd suffering of a terrible culture. and individualist who confuses violence with ingenuity.
