The great void is a large-format comic that draws impossible foreshortenings and pronounced perspectives in Chinese ink to represent a deranged woman and cities built in dizzying verticals.. People obsessed with having their names present are crowded into them., be visible, pronounced and remembered with the goal of achieving immortality. The alternative is to die or flee to the inhospitable space that exists outside the city., the great void. Facing these problems is our protagonist Manel Naher, who shares a name with a very successful singer who is hoarding her name, complicating her destiny a lot. A comic that laughs at that contemporary need to attract attention that earned Léa Murawiec the Grand Audience Prize at the Angoulême Festival of 2022. S.M.
