The American cartoonist has told us about the death of her father, of his relationship with his mother and his obsession with physical exercise (probably to fill a gap), but now focuses on capitalism, the facistoid drift of your country (and his sister), desire and friendships, represented by characters rescued from his iconic strip Some careful lesbians. He does it by laughing at his own insecurities and contradictions., and those of the entire LGTBIQ+ group, of which he is an indisputable reference from the comic watchtower. in the novel, Alison is a vegan woke who raises goats in her home in Vermont and thinks she has to save the world alone. The hyperbole is served and, indeed, she is very funny. S.M.
