The cloister of the La Nau Cultural Center in Valencia offers, one more year, this privileged space to open a window to the cinema. Nits de Cinema offers us a reflection on one of the greatest comic filmmakers of all time. With the title of Echoes of Buster Keaton. One hundred years of La General's machinist, the cycle offers a broad look at one of the key pieces of the artist's filmography. There are seven works that start with the projection of the honoree herself in a special session [8]. They will follow her, in that order, titles as disparate as The porpra rose of Cairo [9], Woody Allen's particular tribute to classic cinema; Mess in the department store, de Frank Tashlin [10]; The last madness [12], de Mel Brooks; what's wrong with me, doctor? [13], one of the best comedies by fellow master Peter Bogdanovich; Playtime [14], by Jacques Tati, undoubtedly his most direct successor; i Golfus from Rome [16], by Richard Lester. The program closes with a double session [17] in which we will see two shorts in which Keaton is involved: Film de Samuel Beckett i Alan Schneider i Sherlock, Jr., with live music by the Wildcat Quartet.
