Cycle dedicated to the work of the British filmmaker Muriel Box. Developed between 1945 i 1964, Box's filmography abordà, in an adverse political context, issues such as prostitution, the abuse of minors, abortion or teenage sex. The cycle brings us closer to this filmmaker enrolled in a period of change for British cinema: that of the comedies of the Ealing production company and the work of female directors such as Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger that would lead to the so-called free cinema.
