In this proposal, Jonas Trueba continues exploring themes and resources from his previous feature films. The Virgin of August is based on the director's own experience, for several years, decided to spend the month of August in the city of Madrid, when most people abandon it to go on vacation. From that experience, extracted the sensations that he now brings to the screen. Eva spends the summer wandering around the city.
